The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for the creation and execution of strategic marketing programs that build consumer awareness, deliver exceptional experiences, and ultimately drive loyalty of the Our Community Credit Union brand. The VP of Marketing will have supervisory and leadership responsibility for Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media and Business Development.


Essential Functions:

10%      Manage brand and product campaigns across all channels. Uses data analysis to track and measure performance of all marketing initiatives.

10%      Researches and interprets member data for the purpose of identifying growth opportunities.

10%      Plans and oversees all advertising and promotional activities.

10%      Researches, conceptualizes, creates and executes marketing programs that promote the credit union, organizational goals, and all products and service.

10%      Manages the Marketing Officer and Business Development Officer, including the responsibilities of coaching and mentoring.

10%      Develops and executes the credit union's digital marketing plan, to include email marketing,

10%      Develops and maintains the corporate brand standard, as needed.

10%      Develops and manages marketing operating budget.

10%      Stays abreast of changes in the financial services environment to best serve the corporate objectives and adjusts marketing plan accordingly.

10%      Oversees and manage the social media strategy

10%      Oversees and manage the credit union website content

10%      Directs the business development function to ensure that membership and business partner goals are met.


 Education Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing -Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


Other Desired Skills:

  • An impeccable design and copywriting skill has a strong aesthetic sense and acute attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud design software suite.
  • Excellent communications, organizational, conflict management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and data interpretation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, SEM, SEO, Display, Social and Affiliate marketing.
  • Proficient at analyzing complex data and metrics and interpreting actionable insights.
  • Experience with MCIF and CRM programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of TV, radio and email marketing.
  • Knowledge of non-traditional marketing, such as digital marketing.
  • Advanced experience with internal and external data research.
